Our Mission

Money Making OSRS was created with one goal: to give Old School RuneScape players a realistic, transparent view of how much GP they can actually earn. Unlike many guides that assume tick-perfect, maxed-out gameplay, we provide adjustable calculators that reflect how you actually play.

We integrate directly with the OSRS Wiki Real-Time Prices API to ensure every calculation uses the latest Grand Exchange data. Whether you're a seasoned PvMer or a fresh free-to-play skimmer, our tools help you make informed decisions about how to spend your time in Gielinor.

1. Live Grand Exchange Prices & 1% Tax

We integrate directly with the official OSRS Wiki Real-Time Prices API. Every method breaks down into input materials (potions, runes, food, repair fees) and output loot (drops, processed bars, crafted goods).

* The 1% Grand Exchange tax is capped at a maximum of 5,000,000 GP per item, and items priced below 100 GP are exempt from tax.

2. Realistic vs "Tick-Perfect" Efficiency

A common complaint among OSRS players is that wiki guides assume 100% tick-perfect execution with maxed gear and stats (e.g. assuming 36 Vorkath kills/hour or 4 ToA raids/hour).

Money Making OSRS introduces Dynamic Efficiency Sliders on every single guide. You can adjust the kills-per-hour, actions-per-hour, and intensity to see realistic figures tailored to your personal playstyle and gear.

3. Zero-Cost, Static-First Architecture

This platform is built with Astro Static Site Generation (SSG) and deployed on Cloudflare Pages Free. Because there is no heavy backend server, the site loads instantaneously, consumes zero operating costs beyond domain registration, and works seamlessly even if external APIs experience temporary downtime through built-in static snapshots.
